This is my third Corvette. My first was a 2016 Stingray in bright yellow — yellow has always been my favorite color. I owned it for about nine years and absolutely loved it. Then I stopped by a dealership and saw a 2025 Stingray. Even though it wasn't yellow, the redesigned mid-engine C8 really caught my attention. It has the look and feel of an exotic car that costs two or three times as much, so I decided to buy it.

Only about three months later, another driver hit the car, causing nearly $15,000 in damage. It was repaired perfectly, but it just didn't feel the same afterward. Rather than keep it, I decided to order exactly what I wanted — a 2026 Corvette Stingray in yellow.

After retiring from a long career in construction management, owning this car feels like a reward for decades of hard work. My 2026 yellow Stingray is everything I hoped it would be. Every time I open the garage door or get behind the wheel, it reminds me why I've admired Corvettes for most of my life.

The Corvette is a big part of my lifestyle. My wife and I enjoy scenic drives, club events, charity fundraisers, cruise-ins, and Corvette shows throughout the year. I'm also an event organizer with the Beachcombers Corvette Club. One of my favorite memories was arriving at our annual show and seeing over a hundred Corvettes parked together — a reminder that this car brings people together.

I wanted wheels that looked unique without sacrificing quality or performance. Many aftermarket wheels either looked too common or didn't have the fit and finish I expected. I had aftermarket wheels on my 2016 Corvette, but the paint chipped quite often, so after a few years they looked very worn and lacked the uniqueness I was looking for.
