The First Ride
An exclusive interview with our featured VIP
Some people fall in love with cars from spec sheets. Others from TV. For Michelle R., it happened in the passenger seat of a red-on-red '76 Stingray — her father behind the wheel, the world moving past in a blur of chrome and color. That moment never left her. And when her father passed in 2020, he left her something she hadn't expected: a 2007 Lemans Blue Corvette. He'd bought that specific year for a reason — it was the year her son was born. They were close, her father and her son, right up until the end.
2020 was a hard year. A loss. A pandemic. A life that needed something to hold onto. She found it behind the wheel.

Meet Steadyrock
An exclusive interview with our featured VIP
She named her Steadyrock — and she be steady rockin'. Lemans Blue, LS2 engine, tan convertible top, chrome rims that catch sunlight like they were made for it. Clean, classic, and unapologetically herself.
On wheels: Michelle loves her chrome rims, simple and shining. If she ever upgrades, she'd stay chrome. Although as a female, skirts with built-in shorts have been my best friend.

35 New Brothers
An exclusive interview with our featured VIP
Michelle joined IconiQ in October 2024. Her first real club activity was the MSU Homecoming Parade — and they didn't just show up. They won Best Community Group. The way the crowd responded, the way people looked at them, the kids giving thumbs up from the sidewalk — she was hooked. She came from a small immediate family. After joining, she gained 35 brothers overnight. As one member told her directly: "Don't play about me."
Being the only female driver in the club? She wears it proudly. Especially when young girls are in the crowd. Cars are not exclusive to males. She's learning constantly, asking questions, and never once made to feel like she should know less.

2026: Be There or Be Square
She's not giving too much away. But at the last meeting, she felt it — the energy in the room, the grind the board has already put in, the scale of what's coming.
This is not going to be like a car show anyone has ever seen. We are going to go hard to make it unforgettable. Be there or be square is all I'll say about that right now.
