What first drew you to your 1968 Ford Galaxy and 2022 GMC Denali? Was there a specific moment or memory that made you decide these were the vehicles for you?

Well, for the '68 Galaxy, it’s all about the classic vehicle appeal. There is something undeniable about an old classic. But the real story is how I ended up matching them. After I got the first set of RVRN wheels for my Galaxy, I absolutely loved how it came out. I looked at it and said, "I want that exact same look on my truck." The truck is a 2022 GMC Denali—I always accidentally say 2019, but it’s a 2022. I wanted them to be twins because both vehicles represent a certain standard for me.

How do these vehicles fit into your lifestyle—whether it’s for daily driving, weekend cruises, or special occasions? Can you share a memorable scenario where they stood out?

I drive my GMC Denali truck primarily as my main vehicle, while the Galaxy is that classic showstopper. They completely stand out because they are both white, and now they have the exact same matching custom wheels. It’s tough to find a wheel design that can seamlessly transition from a vintage classic body to a brand-new modern truck frame, but this setup gives both of them an incredible sense of style and class. I’m so used to people trying to pull me over on the road or stopping me outside my house just to ask, "Oh my god, where did you get those wheels? That looks so good!"

Before RVRN, what were your expectations for your car’s wheels? Did you face any frustrations with previous wheel brands?

I’ve always prided myself on putting aftermarket wheels on every single vehicle I own—including my other cars like my NSX. My philosophy is that wheels make or break a car. Period. Nothing should remain stock; everything should have custom wheels. But all custom wheels don't automatically make your car look good; you have to choose the right one. My main frustration with the wider industry is how easily you can mess up a wheel design by adding too many colors, cheap paints, or unnecessary elements. I expect a wheel to be clean, proportional, and high-quality.

How did you first learn about RVRN? What made you consider us over other wheel brands?

When I was looking for wheels, I was actually talking to an RVRN salesman. At first, I wasn't entirely sure, so I told him I’d get back to him because I wanted to look at other wheel options. I was looking at a different brand's wheel, but it just didn’t fit the exact vision I had in my head. What made me choose RVRN was when the salesman sent me a photo of an RVRN wheel—the TL81s—mounted on a classic green Plymouth. The moment I saw that specific design on that car, I said, "You know what? That’s it. I don’t need to look any further. That’s the wheel I want to do."

When selecting your RVRN wheels, which detail (design, material, finish, or performance promise) caught your eye first? Why did that matter to you?

It was entirely the design and the specific finish. I knew right away I wanted a polished finish instead of chrome. Chrome would have just been way too much for my white vehicles. The polished finish gives it that deep, mirror-like shine without looking overdone. It honors the classic lines of the Galaxy while giving the Denali a very sleek, high-end look.

Did you have any custom requests for your wheels? How did our team collaborate with you to bring that vision to life?

Yes, my main request was working with the team to get the proper size, fitment, and a good-sized lip. To me, a wheel needs at least a 3-to-4-inch lip to do the design any justice. If you make it too deep, it looks wrong, but RVRN got the proportions perfect.
More importantly, your team showed what they were made of when we hit a customer service issue. On my second order for the truck, the salesperson accidentally built the wheels using specifications for a lifted truck instead of a lowered truck. If we had mounted them, they would have stuck out 3 to 4 inches past the fenders! What blew me away was that RVRN didn't try to blame the customer. Your team took complete ownership of the mistake, rectified it, and fixed it immediately. That level of customer service is rare.

What’s the first thing you noticed about your car after installing RVRN wheels—was it the handling, the appearance, or something else?

It was 100% the appearance. Like I said, the right set of wheels changes the entire persona of a vehicle. The final visual effect was just brilliant. It completely transformed how both the truck and the classic car sit, giving them a matched, custom look that you just don't see anywhere else.

Have there been moments where your RVRN wheels exceeded your expectations? For example, during long drives, bad weather, or at car events?

They exceed expectations every time I park them outside. Even my wife—who drives a Rivian electric vehicle—looked at them and said, "Wow, those are really nice. I wonder if they make them to fit my EV, because those would look great on my car." They just elevate the presence of the vehicles wherever they are.

How do people react when they see your car with RVRN wheels? Has it sparked any interesting conversations?

The reaction is crazy. When people see either the '68 Galaxy or the GMC Denali, the wheels are all they talk about. If I leave the vehicles outside my house, people will literally stop their cars in the middle of the street just to look at them, stare, and ask me if they can take pictures. It happens constantly.

If you could describe RVRN in one sentence to a fellow automotive enthusiast or truck owner, what would you say?

No matter what vehicle you drive, RVRN’s attention to detail, the quality of the wheel, and the style are simply unmatched—period.

What features or designs would you love to see in RVRN’s future wheel collections?

Honestly, my advice isn't about a new design, but about how you market them. There are thousands of wheel companies showcasing just a standalone wheel on their websites, with a tiny gallery on the side. RVRN needs to market your wheels by putting them front and center on actual vehicles in your main imagery. Showcasing what the wheel looks like fully mounted on a beautiful truck or car makes all the difference. For example, I just sent your team a picture of how I put custom lighting behind my RVRN wheels to showcase the spokes. Lean into that real-world look!

Is there anything we haven’t covered about your RVRN experience that you’d like to share?

Just a reminder to your team to keep prioritizing customer service. A lot of wheel companies get big, forget about the customer, and end up losing them. RVRN did the right thing, handled adversity perfectly, and earned a lifetime customer. I couldn't be happier.
