Community car shows have always been about more than competition. They bring together friends, families, and enthusiasts who enjoy sharing the stories behind their vehicles.
At the Bubba's 33 Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show in Texas, one family left with more than great memories—they went home with two awards.
Brian's wife showcased their 2007 Chevrolet Corvette equipped with a custom RVRN forged wheel setup and earned First Place in its class. At the same event, Brian also received an award with his beautifully restored 1957 Chevrolet, making it a memorable weekend for the entire family.
At the center of the build is the RVRN RV-DR08D, a custom two-piece forged wheel engineered specifically for the C6 Corvette platform. Designed with deep lip proportions, flush fitment, and a personalized Gunmetal and Gloss Black finish, the setup enhances the car's stance while preserving the clean body lines that define the C6.
Shortly after the event, Brian shared another thought with us. Although the Corvette had just earned a First Place trophy, he was already planning his next refinement.
He felt the Gunmetal center section appeared slightly darker than he had envisioned and decided to refinish it in a lighter shade of gray.
That conversation perfectly captures what custom forged wheels are all about. Winning awards is rewarding, but true enthusiasts continue chasing the details that make a build feel completely their own.
Stories like this remind us that every custom project continues to evolve. At RVRN, every forged wheel is built around the owner's vision—and that vision can always keep growing.
