Porsche ownership has always been about more than driving. It is about craftsmanship, personal expression, and the connection between enthusiasts who appreciate the details.
At the PCA-OCR 54th Annual White Glove Concours & All Porsche Car Show in Dana Point, California, RVRN joined a community where these details matter most — meeting Porsche owners, discussing wheel design, and sharing the story behind a custom forged build.
Unlike traditional product displays, automotive events create an opportunity to experience design in person. A finish that looks impressive in photos can reveal completely different characteristics under natural light, where texture, depth, and craftsmanship become much more visible.
For this Porsche build, the focus was not simply creating a new wheel design. It was about engineering a setup that enhanced the vehicle’s presence while maintaining Porsche’s original balance and proportions.
The RV-DP04 two-piece forged wheel setup was developed with a focus on deep dish structure, flush fitment, and refined finishing.
Compared with the previous setup, RVRN re-engineered the wheel profile, offset, and lip structure to create a significantly deeper visual presence.
The front lip increased from approximately 1.5 inches to 2.76 inches, while the rear lip grew from approximately 2.5 inches to 4.26 inches (108.2mm).
The goal was not simply to maximize lip depth. The objective was to achieve a deeper, more aggressive stance while maintaining proper Porsche proportions, clean fitment, and a natural integration with the body lines.
The Transparent Bronze spoke finish, brushed barrel, and polished lip combination was selected specifically to showcase the craftsmanship of a true two-piece forged wheel.
Under natural sunlight, each surface creates a different visual experience — from the warm depth of the bronze spokes to the metallic texture of the brushed barrel and the reflective contrast of the polished lip.
Events like the PCA-OCR White Glove Concours allow RVRN to connect directly with enthusiasts who share the same appreciation for engineering, detail, and individuality.
Every conversation with Porsche owners helps shape future designs and reinforces what custom forged wheels are truly about — creating a personal connection between the driver and the vehicle.
