01 · Resolution Timeline
Rear fitment confirmed. Front wheel barrels reported hitting the OEM steel brake calipers.
RVRN engineering reviewed the onsite measurements, identifying a 20mm clearance variance on the new G90 platform.
Corrective machining and revised barrel specifications finalized. Priority production initiated for replacement front wheels.
Two replacement front wheels moved to the top of the production queue, reducing wait time by 5 weeks.
Second installation completed successfully. Perfect brake clearance and structural safety confirmed.
02 · Build Background
03 · Original Fitment Data
Order placed on 12/30/2025. Engineering drawings confirmed on 01/06/2026.
Width and offset compatibility were checked against verified G90 platform records.
The two-piece RV-DR08D design was selected to balance weight and aesthetics.
The approved drawings confirmed the max-concavity profile was safe for production.
04 · Installation Issue
This was a low-probability fitment variance. Internal review confirmed the front barrel's inner diameter of 469mm was 20mm too narrow for the G90's massive steel brake setup, a detail not captured in early platform data.
05 · Corrective Solution
RVRN engineering team immediately conducted a specialized review based on customer-provided photos and videos.
The barrel inner diameter and clearance window were adjusted to create a 20mm safer fitment margin.
The replacement wheels were remade in 3-4 weeks, significantly faster than the standard RVRN lead time.
The revised design maintained full load ratings while expanding the internal brake clearance window.
06 · Final Fitment Confirmed
The revised setup achieved perfect brake clearance and achieved the desired visual impact with no vibrations or seating issues.
07 · Process Improvements
Before any order moves to production, it must pass triple verification: independent calculation by three different engineers, mandatory individual sign-off sheets, and a system lock unless all engineers provide identical results.
The system now enforces mandatory dual-validation for brake clearance margins, exact ET and offset windows, and wheel width and internal diameter matches.
Even for successful cases, RVRN now re-confirms brake system upgrades or modifications, suspension changes or spacer use, and widebody or fender modifications.
