MD04 One-Piece Transformation
Technical Challenge
The client requested a one-piece version of the DC09, removing the carbon front plate.
He required a high-shine gradient finish: fine metallic purple fading into black, with precise gradient direction, cap contrast, and multi-layer color stability.
Spoke geometry and surface behavior had to be adjusted to prevent pooling, uneven reflections, and color inconsistency.
The rare purple finish was only available in a single batch, making the project irreproducible.
Engineering Solution
The wheel was re-engineered into the RV-MD04 1-Piece Forged Series, recalculating spoke thickness and edge transitions for structural integrity.
Multiple gradient tests refined layer order, flake density, and cap placement, ensuring consistent shimmer and smooth transitions.
The result is a unique, one-of-a-kind wheel combining engineering precision with a flawless, multi-layered finish.

Design Solution
Our engineering team integrated the KD letters seamlessly between the spokes of the RB-01 design, creating a signature look that's both bold and refined. The custom RVRN Red finish on the barrel and face contrasts beautifully with the Gloss Black window and inner lip.
