Find Your Spoke Style
Five-Spoke: Clean Lines, Distinctive Proportions
Five-spoke wheels give each spoke a strong individual presence. Compare spoke thickness, the space between spokes and the relationship between the face and lip. An open design can draw attention to the brakes; a contrasting lip can add another layer of detail.
Designs to explore: RV-MP03, RV-DF14 and RV-DP03.
One design, two Mercedes-Benz directions: the 2019 AMG GT Roadster pairs RV-DP03 wheels with Gloss Black spokes and a Chrome barrel and screws. The 2019 S560 Sedan project uses the same wheel model with Polished Frozen Gold spokes and a Polished Aluminum barrel. Y-Spoke: Branching Detail and a Sport-Inspired Look
Y-spoke designs add detail without the evenly repeated pattern of a traditional multi-spoke wheel. Compare where the spokes branch, how open the face looks and how the finish reveals the shape. This direction can suit owners who want more visual movement than a simple five-spoke layout.
Designs to explore: RV-MR05, RV-DC24 and RV-MC19.
Project reference: 2025 Mercedes-Benz CLE300. This RV-MR05 project uses Gloss Black spokes and barrel. It is a useful reference if you are considering a Y-spoke design with an all-black finish—and shows that this design direction extends beyond AMG models.
Multi-Spoke: More Detail, More Finish to Explore
Multi-spoke wheels create a denser pattern across the wheel face. Compare spoke spacing, the center section and the outer lip. Bright finishes can emphasize these details, while darker finishes can make the pattern more understated.
Designs to explore: RV-TR66, RV-DM03, RV-DM05 and RV-DN01.
Real build: 2011 Mercedes-Benz E350 W212. This RV-DM05 project combines a multi-spoke design with Chrome spokes and barrel. Consider it as a reference for a detailed, bright wheel direction on a Mercedes-Benz sedan.

Choose the Finish That Completes the Look
Compare your preferred finish with the vehicle’s paint, exterior trim and caliper color. Look at both close-ups and full-car photographs.
- Gloss Black: a dark, unified direction. Check photographs in different lighting to see how clearly the spoke details remain visible.
- Polished Aluminum or Chrome: brighter directions that draw attention to surfaces and edges. These are different finishes; specify the actual treatment you want.
- Black Chrome: a darker reflective direction to discuss if you want a different effect from Gloss Black.
- Two-Tone: contrasting face and barrel or lip treatments can make the wheel’s layers easier to see. The AMG GT Roadster’s black-and-chrome RV-DP03 setup is one example.

Match Construction and Fitment to Your Build
Monoblock offers a one-piece wheel form. 2-piece construction provides a separate center and barrel, with design options for profile and contrasting finishes. Spoke count alone does not tell you a wheel’s weight, strength or suitability for performance use.
Once you have a shortlist, share your vehicle year, model, trim, body style and intended use, plus any brake, suspension or spacer changes. RVRN reviews dimensions, offset, brake clearance and the front-to-rear configuration before production. Achievable concavity and lip depth depend on the design and vehicle requirements.
Gallery specifications describe individual builds. They should not be copied to another vehicle without review, including between AMG GT generations or two-door and four-door models.
